Frugal Mom Here

Or frugalista as I like to "call myself". If you haven't ever shopped kid's consignment before, I highly suggest it! I have found so many things in awesome condition or almost brand new for half than retail or even much less. From necessities to clothes to toys to shoes, my local ones have a great selection of it all.

Here are a few recent examples:
Sorry, horrible phone camera quality in all my pics!  I am just too lazy to upload real camera ones all the time...
Best $12 I ever spent!  She plays with this le.apfrog activity table all the time!  After pulling up on everything, I felt like she needed something to stand up and play with.... I was right.
Sorry, no video uploaded... but it is so cute to see her bounce and dance to the music!
Found Elmo for $1.  First thing I've bought her on splurge because she squealed with delight when she saw it.  She has attached to it ever since.  So odd, because she has never seen Sesame Street.
Got this walker for $12.  She is pushing one of my dolls from when I was little... she could care less if there was anything in the stroller though.  That is just me playing around. ;o)

Found her Easter dress for $2.50.  And her shoes for $2.00.  Her sweater was a gift from my aunt a while back.
Just like anyone, I love finding a good deal.  I just have to be careful to question myself whether we actually need it first.  Otherwise I can get carried away at times.  I hope to teach my little girl the art of being a good steward with her money, but to not become materialistic.  There is such a fine line of balance there that I am seeking all the time.  Life is about balance, is it not?

Awesome deals!! In our town twice a year they have HUGE consignment sales- great bargains and I've sold stuff too and made a ton of moolah:)

We love kids' consignment sales in our home too. Almost all of the twins' clothing has come from consignment.

Love the picture with Sydney pushing her baby doll in the stroller! :)

I just got some stuff at our big Rhea Lana consignment sale this weekend. I love it! I scored a great jogging stroller so I was happy. And Kaylee loves her activity table as well. It was definitely one of the best investments we've made on toys.
