More belly pics

A comment about the previous post:  I found through a search, that the fact the blogs I am following/reading don't show up in my dashboard is not an isolated event, but has happened to LOTS of people.  So I can following somewhat through Google Reader (which has only half of the blogs for some reason).  The good thing is the list of them all is still there buried, I just have to click on each individual blog to see if there is a new post... Sorry, I panicked before.  I just didn't want to miss anything with all of us coming to the end of our pregnancies.

Pregnancy Symptoms:  Everything is going well here.  I am having to limit myself during the day what I do, otherwise I regret it later.  It is so hard to do, being the active girl I am.  Saturday, I finally got my limited "deck garden" planted in pots.  I had such a large one last year that it took alot of work watering it.  I knew this year with a baby, I wouldn't have time or energy to "baby" as many plants.  So with all that bending and then celebrating with family for Mother's Day that evening, as well as serving on Sunday in preschool and then getting some earrands done with hubby Sunday evening...needless to say my Braxton Hicks contractions were in full force as well as my feet swelling some.  I am sure it doesn't help that it is a lot warmer weather here now.

Home visit:  I need to get our house completely straightened up for the midwife home visit tomorrow.  At 36 weeks she comes to our home to get familiar and evaluate everything for the home birth...  The crazy thing is our finished basement (where I want the water tub, etc. set up) started having a minor leak in one corner with the last torrential downpour we had.  My husband has been cutting holes into the drywall to figure out the extent of the leak and possibly mold growth.  Thankfully it is just one corner where the previous owners did not "seal" one concrete block wall.  The other ones appear to be sealed.  I guess they assumed that wall is under the garage and would not leak...but that one corner is exposed up where the driveway and brick meet in front of the garage.  So we are working on that issue currently on top of my poor husband that is working 60+ hours a week trying to catch up a project at work.  He keeps warning everyone that when his wife goes into labor and has the baby he is taking his vacation for a week or more depending on how everything goes...

Birth Class:  We had the first half of our birth class Saturday morning.  It was great.  I had read most of the information in books I had borrowed, but it was good to hear it all laid out and see some visual aids.  My husband on the other hand was very grateful to learn so much.  He had been starting to panic about the whole labor, etc. just a week before.  So the class helped calm his anxieties and see what was expected and needed of him, etc.  We will finish the other half this coming Saturday.  Crazy to think just a few more weeks and I will be working hard to help Sydney arrive...

Mother's Day:  This mother's day was very special with everyone wishing me a happy mother's day.  This is my first offical one, although it doesn't feel real yet to me.  I don't know why, but I feel like I will be pregnant forever and the whole baby part will never happen.  Just an infertile's crazy mind, I know...

Baby Prediction:  Oh and I have to share what my nephew (3 in June) said about his new cousin.  He says that she will have pink eyes and purple hair because she is a girl.  The logic is sound because he has blue eyes and light brown hair and he is a boy.  Hee hee, he is so cute.  I love hearing him say Sydney with that cute little voice.

Belly Pics:  Last Saturday/Sunday at 34 weeks my husband's sister took our maternity pictures for us.  She loves photography and does it for a hobby and volunteered to do our pictures for us.  You can't beat the "price" of baby sitting my nephews for payment in exchange. ;0)  She did an awesome job and the weather was perfect that day!  I hope to post more than just the one I stole off Facebook.  It will just take me some time to get them off the disc and crop out my head. Hee hee.

Great belly shots! We want to see your head too though! It is nice having faces with names : ) and I somehow missed that you were doing a homebirth! We are doing a waterbirth as well, but at the hospital. Syndney will be here soon!

I'm glad you're doing well! You're ahead of me on the vegetable garden. My deck garden is still swirling around in my head!

I have had the same problem with blogger,I refresh the page a couple of times and it usually takes care of it.I got your comment on my blog thank you for trying to encourage me.I was wondering if you were testing all the way up until you got your BFP and saw BFN during that time before or if that was just the day you decided to test? I too am using the FRER test and FMU.
